American Board of Podiatry Surgeons (ABPSx)

The ABPSx is a comprehensive specialty board providing industry and the public confidence in our members qualifications and abilities. Podiatric physicians who have met the strict requirements for State licensure and successfully completed a residency with surgical components are eligible for Board Qualified Status. Next, they are granted 7 years to accumulate a diversity of surgical cases which are then submitted for documentation review then scrutinized in an oral peer review session. Once they have achieved Diplomate status, they have 10 years before they must Re-Certify. This ensures our Certified members are continually up do date with the latest advances in lower extremity surgery.
